Child Sponsorship

Would  you like to sponsor a child?

just fill in the sponsor a child form.  There you can request the age, gender and type of school of the child

kids4school now has almost 2000 children registered and attending school.  These children attend remote village schools where there is extreme poverty.  Currently they attend Hombolo, Gawaye, Nzasa, Kitelera, Mchemwa, Nzasa B and Bwawani School areas.  The children attend local government Primary Schools and for those who can pass the National Transfer Examination there are also Secondary Schools for them to attend.

almost 2000 kids going to school

Students who are registered on the sponsorship program get the uniforms and books that are necessary to attend school.  They also are provided with a daily meal at the kids4school feeding stations.  They attend schools that have benefited greatly by the wider work of kids4school and its sponsors – classrooms have been renovated, new toilets blocks built and water storage tanks constructed to provide schools with clean and safe water.

Expanding Strategy

As part of the program, kids4school are investing on an academic level by employing and training classroom assistants at schools.  This is part of the ongoing and expanding strategy to assist the schools towards increasing the pass rate of the Standard 7 National Examinations.  This is a contributing factor in many of our sponsored children being able to move on to Secondary Schools.

Not Expensive

Sponsorship is not expensive – in fact just overt 19 cents a day, but gives these children a future and their families a way out of poverty.

Letters from home

The children are always delighted to get letters and cards from their sponsors.  While there is no postal service because of how remote the villages are, kids4school representatives visit the schools.  It is not easy for them to reply and that is why we arrange a letter to be written at school (if they old enough to write) and we send them out to sponsors as and when we get them.

In seeking to show the love of Christ, kids4school will strive to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people regardless of their race, gender, colour or religion
